here are a few new ones. i did the razor painting for tommy guns salon on ludlow st. that is one nice establishment. the bird on the shoulder is on a lovely lady from australia she and her boyfriend both were tattooed on the same day. they are also tattooers….i have never met a tattooer couple before. they were some of the sweetest people i have had the pleasure of meeting.  the crow above the elbow is on a tattooer from upstate new your by the name of andrew, we had a tuff time trying to think of what image could fit into such a funny shaped space…. then we decided nothing better than a creepy crow head.  i am currently working on a sheet of flash, each design on the sheet will be $400 first come first serve, the designs are all black shade and there will be approximately 10 to choose from. i will post more upon completion. thank you

gonna give you a what for

okay so here we are again, i did this horse head with a ferriers hammer on a very nice man form canada. i like this one as it is so large and there is more of a focus on the horses face as opposed to its mane etc. the flowers are on melissa who is a regular customer of mine and wanted to fill up the empty space between her tattoos, i like these lot.  finally the book, oh this book, well we did this one fast. i was told that he wanted it done as quick as i could and we put the peddle down. did it fast as hell.

hang ‘em high

here is a picture of myself and my lil pork chop. here is a tattoo i did today, now usually wednesday is one of  my days off , but upon seeing Dan’s email i decided that i should come on in. ( okay so this is a lie , Dan was supposed to get tattooed on thurs or friday , but i double booked his time and thats why i did the off day thing). it was a pleasure tattooing Dan and meeting his lady, once again i was honored with an out of town customer , Dan is from canada and had some very nice tattoos from jeff zuck and mr. mario desa of chicago tattoo company. Dan sat for the entire back of his leg without one complaint, i don’t think he even got up to stretch. i was very excited to do this as i have yet to tattoo or see that many female subjects of this time period. i looked at a very old hand painted banner and a few other period specific references and tada the lady drawing was complete. the photograph is a bit flash burned  , but i am very happy with the outcome of Dan’s tattoo and wanted to share it as soon as possible. thank you Dan.

i love the fall

here are some new tattoos and a few pics from mass. i went on a hike as you can see. the bird on the hand is on a very nice gentleman named Avery, he lives in canada and was a pleasure to tattoo. the hand and rose is on Sebastian , he came from sweden to run in the nyc marathon and get tattooed by me . it was an honor to tattoo someone willing to travel so far. thanks to both of these gents.

the church and indian are both from a small town on the new york and mass border. the indian was the mascot of a delicious diner. outside that church there was a sign that read gospel teachin’ bible preachin’ . amazing!

A little shiny still, but i think that you can get the point. This tattoo was so fun to do and is on one of the most tuff people i have ever had the pleasure of tattooing, William sits like a champ! Thank you for getting this tattoo. My back hurts pretty bad when i tattoo so i try to only do designs that i am interested in and that i think are worth the back pain…. this is no doubt one of them. Next we have some giant outline that i started on a real gentleman from London. I was very excited that he made the flight here to be tattooed by me …. it is a true complement.

here are a few new ones….. the shoe and rose tattoo is on kristi , who has many tattoos from me and has been a good customer for a few years now. i did the hand on paul who is a tattooer from syracuse, ny . he has a couple of tattoos from me …..the horse is in its second sitting…i expect one more and we will have her all finished up. i like doing large pieces its easier on my body to focus on one tattoo a day as opposed to 2 or 3. the horse and lady belong to william …he sits better than anybody i have ever tattooed. the middle picture is yours truly holding my special one.

i have been fortunate enough for a publishing company located in chicago to ask me to sell prints of my folk paintings through them….they are still working out the packaging, but from what i gather there will be around 5 to 7 small prints inside hand made wooden boxes. i am very excited and will update the blog when the product is finished. thank you for your continued support of the copper beehive….it is nice to share things and have them appreciated.

chilly winds

i have tattooed alot of images … never have i tattooed a chalice  of misery. i truly feel complete. i am only posting this one pic today as i think sometimes it only takes one. i am leaving town for a few days and will have many new pictures to post in coming days.

sick of dreaming

here are some new ones for ya’. i am going to skip talking about the tattoos and get right down to it. i have been over taken by mad men. the show is so good…i literally can not miss an episode! i am not one to watch alot of t.v. , but holy shit. i just ,ove the arrogance  of the show. anyway, i am very excited that the weather has decided to cool off and i have planned many trips out of town…..can’t wait for fall. apple picking pumpkin carving crisp air and turning leaves.

i did this bull dog the other day , i have only tattooed one other dog image before…. needless to say this one was alot of fun. the other pictures are from a bed and breakfast near brimfield mass. it was so chilly at night and very beautiful throughout the weekend.
